MAP Policy

1. Introduction

Get Joy Food is committed to providing high-quality products at competitive prices while maintaining a fair and competitive marketplace for all authorized resellers. To support this commitment, Get Joy Food has unilaterally adopted this Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy.

2. Policy Statement

The MAP policy applies to all Get Joy Food products. The MAP for each product is established by Get Joy Food and communicated to all authorized resellers. The MAP policy applies to all advertisements of Get Joy Food products in any and all media, including but not limited to online advertisements, print ads, catalogs, television, radio, and public signage.

3. Advertising Guidelines

  • Resellers may not advertise or otherwise promote Get Joy Food products at a price lower than the MAP.
  • Bundling Get Joy Food products with other products will be viewed as adhering to this MAP policy provided that the advertised bundle price is at or above the MAP; however, the value of the free or discounted item(s) in the bundle must not be advertised in a manner that violates the MAP price of the product.
  • The inclusion of free or discounted products (whether made by Get Joy Food or another manufacturer) with a MAP product will be considered a violation of this policy if it has the effect of discounting the advertised price of the MAP product below the MAP.
  • Rebates, coupons, loyalty programs, and other incentives that effectively lower the advertised price of a MAP product below the MAP will be considered a violation of this policy.

4. Policy Enforcement

  • Failure to comply with this MAP policy will result in sanctions unilaterally imposed by Get Joy Food. These sanctions may include, without limitation, suspension of shipments, suspension from the authorized reseller program, and/or termination of the reseller agreement.
  • Get Joy Food reserves the right to update, revise, suspend, or terminate this MAP policy at its discretion without notice to resellers.

5. General Provisions

  • This MAP policy has been unilaterally adopted by Get Joy Food and will be unilaterally enforced. Get Joy Food is not seeking agreement from any reseller to adhere to this MAP policy. It is entirely at the discretion of the reseller whether to comply or not.

6. Policy Modifications

Get Joy Food reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue this MAP policy in whole or in part at any time. Notice of any changes will be provided to all authorized resellers in accordance with the terms of this policy.
